Buddha Soapstone Burner

Made in India, this beautiful soapstone oil burner has a cut out design of Lord Buddha. Also has a cut out of sacred mantra in the ancient Pali language ‘Buddham Sharnam Gachchami’ meaning ‘I take refuge in the Buddha’.

Soapstone is so named because it has something of the consistency of soap and is known for its thermal properties. While it is easier to carve a soapstone, it is rather time consuming.
